Part of being an executor or administrator for an estate is paying the bills for the deceased person, and that requires checks for the estate account. In order to help keep costs low for our clients, we often have a legal assistant (in this case DeJah) handle the nuts and bolts items at a much lower rate than mine as an attorney.
This is also why we grant permission to do things like order checks and get copies of statements to those legal assistants, and we did so for this estate account. Yeah. Try to tell that to this bank.
Unfortunately, this particular bank has been *the worst* to deal with on anything. Please message Jeff on Instagram @The_Plain_English_Attorney or Facebook at Jeffrey G. Marsocci to find out which bank it was.
