Everything is starting to move to the Internet, and information about estate planning is no different. While our law office has had a web presence since opening about 16 years ago, advancements in technology, the varieties of media, and Mr. Marsocci’s own drive to write has greatly increased the ways we can provide information on life and estate planning. Based in no small part on our success in providing education for partners through a few webinars after North Carolina passed Amendment One last May, we are going to schedule regular monthly webinars on a variety of topics.
Starting on October 8, 2012 and October 29, 2012 at 7.pm. we will focus specifically on domestic partner planning in North Carolina in light of Amendment One with a quick video and then open things up for questions. On October 22, 2012 at 7 p.m. we will have the webinar on living trusts, and we will run a 30 minute educational video and then also open things up so participants can ask questions.
“Everyone needs to think about life and estate planning, and people always have questions,” Mr. Marsocci said. “While there are books, seminars, and reports out there for people to gain valuable insight, we want to make things as easy as possible for people who may want to get a quick overview and ask a few questions via the Internet while in the comfort of their own home or office. While this will by no means replace the seminars we give and books we produce, it is just another way to provide valuable information.”
Future webinars currently being created include long term care planning without long term care insurance and multi-generational retirement account planning. For more information, please go to www.livingtrustlawfirm.com to sign up.
