As many of you know, I am a Federal Club member and a member of the Board of Governors for the Human Rights Campaign. Every year, HRC holds a gala fundraiser, and this year I have committed myself to being a table captain and getting eight other people to sit at my table. So for this year, I want to specifically invite you as colleagues, clients and friends of the firm to join us at the 2014 North Carolina Human Rights Campaign Gala Dinner in Charlotte! HRC has been fighting for LGBT rights in a great number of areas including marriage equality, employment non-discrimination legislation, equal corporate benefits, anti-bullying efforts, and many others. The funds raised at the Gala help HRC further its mission of equality in North Carolina and elsewhere, and, more importantly, helps give a voice to those who have none.
When: Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 5:30 p.m.
Where: Charlotte Convention Center,
Cost: Tickets are $195 each (only $95 for HRC Federal Club members) until 2/7/14.
The theme this year is “Our Continuing Mission: ENGAGE,” and it will be a night to be proud of! We have been guaranteed a smooth check in process, a cocktail hour, a beautiful Silent Auction, and an evening packed with fun and proud moments. In addition, HRC President Chad Griffin will be our featured speaker! Tickets can be purchased at www.hrccarolina.org, and be sure to sign up under the table for Jeffrey G. Marsocci. (If we actually have to spread to two tables, we’ll let people fight it out rock-paper-scissors style over who gets to sit at Kathy’s table rather than mine.) In addition, we will have gift bags courtesy of the law office for those who attend and sit at one of our tables.
If you would like assistance getting signed up for our table, then please contact our office at 919-844-7993 and speak to Kathy. For more information on the Gala, please contact Paige Long by email at [email protected] or visit www.hrccarolinas.org. We look forward to seeing you there!
