With April comes baseball season and Mr. Marsocci’s passion for the Durham Bulls. Coming off a tremendous season of winning the Triple-A National Championship by defeating the Memphis Redbids 5-3 last September 19, the Durham Bulls are hoping to do just as well this year. However, the promotions of the Bulls pitching and batting coaches to the Tampa Bay Rays means anything can happen.
While everyone is proud of our local champions, the same Durham Bulls experience promises to excite and entertain the fans whether the team wins or loses in 2018. “We have loved every game we’ve been to, whether the Bulls win or lose,” Jeff said. “Obviously, we are happier when the Bulls win, but we’re going to be loyal fans no matter how things turn out this year. We’re looking forward to seeing our fellow season ticket holders, the regular friendly staff members, and especially Wool E. Bull.”
The Durham Bulls regular season starts on Thursday, April 5 with a 6:05 p.m. game against the Charlotte Knights, and the season ends on September 3 (Labor Day) with an afternoon game against the Norfolk Tides. “Kathy and I are looking forward to being at every game we can,” Jeff said.
