In addition to his work as an attorney and legacy strategist, Jeffrey G. Marsocci, Esq. also conducts Continuing Education (CE) and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) classes for life insurance agents and attorneys through Partners Practice Development and Consulting, LLC. Several times a year, he will conduct day-long combined CE/CLE classes with a focus on presenting basic and cutting edge life and estate planning techniques in a way that is easy for the participants to digest and then explain to their clients. A practical course on the concepts of life and estate planning in light of the 2011-2012 estate tax laws with an emphasis on explaining these concepts to clients; attorneys and financial advisors working together on achieving client goals; and the merits, disadvantages and techniques of IRA Trusts, Family Limited Partnerships, and the Perpetual Family Legacy Trust ™. The objectives of the course are to enable professionals to:
- Identify and understand the significance of asset ownership and revocable trust funding;
- Understand intermediate-level life and estate planning techniques and describing their functions and features to clients;
- Helping clients establish a Perpetual Family Legacy Trust™ to help their wealth live on in their family forever; and
- Attorney-advisor relationship, serving clients, and avoiding unauthorized practice of law.
This program is an intermediate course for most attorneys and an intermediate to expert course for financial advisors and insurance agents. This is not a course loaded down with statute citations and case references, but instead it focuses on the practical aspects of estate planning and using plain English to communicate legal concepts effectively with clients and non-legal professionals. (CLE–5.0 credit hours plus 1.0 ethics hours for 6.0 total hours)(6.0 CE credits).
